The Ibanez DARKSTONE launched in 2009. With its debut, this guitar led to a completely new direction for Ibanez Guitars. You can already see the attraction the guitar possesses, as artists from around the world have embraced the DARKSTONE as their go-to axe onstage.

In January 2011, we introduce the DN2011SC-BKC, a very special DARKSTONE guitar. This guitar features a unique look and style, which is unlike any other DARKSTONE. An ornate silver rose thorn pattern is inlaid into its body, and the pattern is accentuated by a purple gradation finish around the inlay. This combination adds a stylish, elegant motif to the guitar. The brambles creep throughout the fingerboard as well, in a distinct rose thorn inlay pattern. The body also features additional crystal cuts exaggerating its stereoscopic figure along with the body inlay work.

The DN2011SC-BKC also features the fundamental concept of the DARKSTONE series. You can capture a screaming humbucking sound or a sparkling single coil sound, all through the CAP-PP1 pickup, by a simple switch of the coil-tap on the Push/Pull tone pot. With these features, this guitar combines beauty with practicality.
