Taking our legendary BTB, we reconfigured it into a shorter scale (33") instrument, making it more than a mere runway for fast fingers, but with factory tuning of E to C, encouraging bold new excursions into the baritone range.
Maple/Bubinga combination provides rock-solid durability. Thru-neck construction assures maximum sustain.
The Mono-rail V is the ultimate bridge for bass string isolation. Each bridge is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer without interference.
The bass ramp between the pickups maintains airspeed by keeping plucking fingers from digging too deep.
Equipped with a mid frequency switch, the 3-band EQ is fine-tuned specifically for the BTB. The active 3-band EQ features a fully independent bass, treble, and mid controls with a wide boost/cut range. The mid-frequency select switch enables the selection of 250HZ, 450Hz and 700Hz - the heart of the mid zone - for a more dynamic tone.
Balancing clarity with warmth is the hallmark of the new Bartolini pickup. Coils with lower resonant frequency provide tighter bottom end and full midrange. Also, the dual-coil style configuration maximizes articulation. A long blade polepiece widens the magnetic field, therefore, whether five-string or six, sound level is balanced by the ultra-precise vibration reaction of the longer coils.
